Chernobrova (Kraskina) Munya Mendeleyevna (5.07.1908, Krustpils) — props manager. In 1922, Ch. moved to Riga with her parents. After completing 6 grades of secondary school, she left her studies and from 1926 to 1931 worked as a shop assistant at the Toga and Tagraze shoe shops on Suvorov Street in Riga. From 1932 to 1941, was props manager at the Riga Jewish Theatre.

During the evacuation, she worked as a nursing assistant at a children's hospital in Samarkand. In 1943, she suffered tropical malaria and was unable to work; she was dependent on her sister. After returning to Riga, until 1950 was props manager of the Jewish theatrical brigade.

In 1946, she registered her marriage to Chernobrov Yankel (1903). The family existed for barely more than a month; Ch. was only able to formalise the divorce in the 1950s.

Ch.'s father, Kraskin Mendel (1879 — 1942), a timber inspector, was killed in the Riga Ghetto in 1942. Her mother, Kraskina Tsila (1879 — 1942), died in evacuation in Samarkand in 1942.

Ch.'s brother, Kraskin Shmuel (1909), after being liberated from a concentration camp in West Germany, moved permanently to Haifa in 1945. Ch. also planned to move permanently to him in 1957: having fallen ill in 1950 with malignant anaemia and blood poisoning, Ch. underwent a serious operation and was unable to recover her working capacity.
