Liepāja / Libau / Libava
Born in 5572 (1812) in Palanga, where his father served as rabbinic decisor.
He served here as rabbi from approximately 5600 (1840) (at the request of the aforementioned R. Moshe Yitzchak, to serve as rabbi in his place).
He passed away here in his youth on 7 Nisan 5604 (27 March 1844).
