Beshkin Isroel Berovich (30.12.1932, Riga), - worker

Isroel Beshkin was born in the family of a labourer Bere Leibovich Beshkin (1892, Daugavpils - 1942, Andijan region, Uzbek SSR) and a housewife Bertha Yankelevna Beshkina (Kabiller) (1893, Sabile - 1943, Andijan region, Uzbek SSR). In 1945 he returned to Riga, and from 1947 to 1951 studied at a special vocational school (Ventspils), got the qualification of a universal turner.

Isroel Beshkin worked as a turner at the shipbuilding shipyard (1951-1953, Riga), then, until 1953 - as a preparer at Rigas Apavnieks (1953-1954, Riga). From 1954 to 1957 he served in the Soviet Army. Then he worked as a preparer at the leather and footwear combine (1957-1959, Riga), at Rigas Apavnieks (1959), as a shoemaker at the same company (1960-1961), as a foreman-receiver at the consumer services combine (1961-1962, Riga), as a turner's apprentice at the Carriage Works (1962, Riga), as a foreman and head of the workshop at Pirmais Mais (1963-1971), Riga), he was an apprentice turner at the Carriage Works (1962, Riga), a foreman, head of the shop of the ‘Pirmais Mais’ company (1963-1971, Riga), a shoemaker at the ‘Rigas Apavi’ company (1971-1976, Riga), OPC NOD-1 of the Baltic. railway (1976).

Isroel Beshkin was married to Beshkina (Fleishman) Zhenija Berovna (1936, Riga) and had a daughter Bella Isroelevna Beshkina (1962, Riga).

In 1976 Isroel Beshkin received permission to emigrate to Israel, where since 1964 his uncle (a sibling of his mother, Beshkina (Kabiller) Bertha Yankelevna) - Kabiller Avraham Yankelevich (1900, Sabile) lived.
