Azef (Aseff) Ilya Yefimovich (born 14 July 1927, Kherson) – Quality Control Inspector
Ilya Azef was the son of Yefim Azef(Aseff) (1885, Kherson – 1946, Kherson) and Anna Azef (Aseff) (1889, Kherson – 1963, Riga).
From 1974 to 1979, Ilya Azef worked as a section supervisor at military unit 36858 in Riga. Between 1979 and 1990, he was a quality control inspector at the Riga Jewellery Factory.
Ilya Azef was married to Reiza Azef (née Aranovich, formerly Karpukh) (born 1930, Riga), they had a daughter, Tatyana Binunas (née Azef) (born 1957, Riga).
In 1990, Ilya Azef was granted permission to emigrate to Israel at the invitation of his wife's sister, Feiga (Faina) Kleimann (née Aranovich) (born 1926, Riga).
