Latvian Jewish Education Society (former branch of the Russian Society for the Promotion of Jewish Culture) (Ebreju izglītības biedrība Latvijā (Rīgas ebreju izglītības veicināšanas biedrības nodaļa Krievijā)).
Registered on 23 February 1921 (Valdības Vēstnesis. 1921. 3 May. No. 51).
By decision of the Minister of Public Affairs in 1938, the society was re-registered under a new name: ‘Society for Jewish Culture in Latvia’.
