Society for the Promotion of Jewish Knowledge and Arts in Latvia (founded in 1922).
In the second half of October 1924, M. Vaintrob gave a lecture on “The Concept of Nation” at the Society. On the occasion of the Society’s 15th anniversary, it was noted that thanks to its 15 years of activity, 10,000 Jewish children were being educated in Hebrew, and many of them spoke the language.
